Fordham Rose Hill


Fordham University has two main campuses which incoming exchange students can attend: Rose Hill and Lincoln Center.  The Rose Hill campus is the original Fordham campus and is located in the Bronx, NY.  The Lincoln Center campus is located in Manhattan, NY.  Both of these locations are considered to be in New York City, the largest city in the United States of America.  With over 8.1 million inhabitants, New York City is a "melting pot" of cultures.

Program Academics

As an undergraduate exchange student at Fordham University, you are permitted to take any course within the college to which you have been admitted.  Fordham University has three colleges: Fordham College Rose Hill (RH), Fordham College Lincoln Center (LC), and Gabelli School of Business (GSB).  Students must seek special permission to take coursework outside of the college to which they have been permitted.

Some of the programs listed below are offered only at Fordham College at Rose Hill (RH) or Fordham College at Lincoln Center (LC).   All others are available at both campuses.

Lincoln Center Campus


Fordham University has two semesters: fall (August - December) and spring (January - May).  Students who have been nominated by their home institution to study at Fordham for the fall semester or academic year (August - May), must apply by March 1st.  Students who have been nominated by their home institution to study at Fordham for the spring semester, must apply by October 1st.  More information regarding arrival dates, university holidays, and final exams will be made available to applicants upon acceptance.


Only students who have been nominated by their home institution to attend Fordham as part of a standing exchange agreement are allowed to complete this application.  All other applicants will be withdrawn.

Applicants must submit* transcripts from all university study.  All transcripts should be original documents submitted directly from your school to the Office of International and Study Abroad Programs.  

Applicants must submit* proof of their English language proficiency and must meet the following qualifications:

TOEFL iBT: 90+ 
IELTS: 7.0+
PTE-A (Pearson Test of English-Academic): 62+
CAE (Cambridge English Advanced): 67+.

Once you have been accepted by Fordham University, you will be given information regarding on-campus housing, should you wish to apply.  More information regarding the various on-campus housing options and the cost is available through the Fordham Office of Residence Life.
