If I had any advice for students thinking about study abroad it would be: I know it's scary to think about leaving the country and your family and friends and Fordham and familiarity for 3-6 months, but sometimes the most amazing things come from leaving your comfort zone and doing something a little frightening. I know I was terrified to study abroad through a program that I only knew one other person in but I met the most amazing friends, traveled to some of the most amazing places, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. The fear of what might be is worth it. The US, your family and friends, Fordham and the familiarity will be waiting for you when you return. Traveling at our age is one of the most incredible and rewarding experiences.
